Here are a few photos from the New Years Eve celebrations this year, taking sometime after midnight. It definitely seemed like most people did their fireworks before midnight rather than after. There were still a lot of fireworks going off — I just didn’t get any good photos of those!

Even in our small village in Friesland it gets crazy. Not as crazy as the cities but still crazier than I would have thought before I moved here.
Yep. Though I feel like my husband is right and there are less and less personal fireworks each year. Although it is more likly that everyone spends their money on the big ones that are over faster.
