I’ll admit that The Passage is an often blogged about place for me. I’m definitely a fan of the “grass wall” they put in the newer part of the Passage:

- Jan van Zanen will be the new mayor of The Hague (dutchnews.nl) – currently the mayor of Utrecht, he will take over as mayor of The Hague in July (the former mayor of The Hague, Pauline Krikke, resigned after the unfortunate bonfire incident in The Hague)
- The Hague has decided that the major shopping street Grote Markt will be bike free tomorrow, Sunday and Monday (omroepwest.nl, article in Dutch) in anticipation of the holiday weekend and of the re-opening of restaurants and cafés on Monday at 12:00. (I approve!)
