This is a canal at Maliestraat which is not far from – some of you might guess this – Malieveld. It was a bit of a grey day, just like today. A bit of rain here, a bit of rain there. Not enough to bring out your umbrella.
In other news:
- A12 highway closed as carnival trucks try to reach The Hague to protest from nltimes.nl. Yet another protest in The Hague today. This one made the news because carnival truck owners wanted to bring all of the vehicles to Malieveld even though the city is still working on rebuilding the grass from the farmers protest last year.
- Just Eat Takeaway eats up GrubHub, moves into US market from dutchnews.nl. This is notable because Just Eat Takeaway is a Dutch company. It’s a Dutchie invasion!
