My plan of getting good photos this weekend for the blog has been temporarily halted by one very rainy Saturday. Boo!
But I did get a picture of the Johan de Witt statue:
That is a carefully cropped photo to try and hide any construction that was going on in the background. But otherwise, yeah, it was not pleasant weather at all.
In other news:
- “Heart of comfort”: Amsterdam boat to pay tribute to Covid-19 victims from nltimes.nl. A boat called “Heart of comfort” will be traveling the canals of Amsterdam for one week starting today. The boat will carry messages and flowers honoring loved ones lost to Covid-19. By going to the website www.hartvantroost.nl you can leave messages to be put on the boat or request a free flower in honor of someone who you lost.
- Haagse Masks Make an Impact from thehagueonline.com. Apparently I missed a chance to get my very own The Hague face mask: yellow and green of course.
Here’s hoping Sunday has some sun in store for us!
