A few weeks ago Marco and I were at a Dutch store called Big Bazar. One of the bins was full of tiles with sayings on them – who knows what culture had them first – translated into Dutch.

It’s difficult to say – the store I mentioned in this blog post usually has them (as do a lot of souvenir shops) but it doesn’t sell them online.
What you want to search for is things like “Delft blue tiles”. I see websites like dutchgiftoutlet.com or bluedelft.com though that might not be exactly what you want. But I hope this helps!
The Dutch word for these tiles with sayings is “tegelspreuken” but searching for that mostly finds websites where you can make tiles online for fun it seems.
