Yesterday Marco and I made two sorts of ice cubes:
On the top you have coffee ice cubes (just make coffee and let it cool, then put it in the freezer). The other is chocolate and agave syrup ice cubes (1/4 cup agave syrup, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, and two cups water — receipe taken from here).
And no, I have no idea why the middle three ice cubes are lighter in color. Weird!
Above: the chocolate/agave ice cubes.
Above: The finished product. Yum. I can think of some ways to improve it (and add texture) but for a first try it was pretty good.
Wat een goed idee ,dat ga ik ook doen .
Maar ga het ook proberen met thee.
Dat is een goede. Ik wil ook kaneel/chocolade proberen. 🙂
It looks very nice, Niki! 🙂 Reminds me of when my mom used to make ‘icecubes’ with coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk. ❤
My husband was definitely a fan of your post!
A fan of my comment you mean, Niki? Has he ever tried that recipe? It’s super yummy!!
No, he hasn’t tried that recipe yet. 🙂
Looks yummy. My wife and I are trying to relocate there next summer for work. Did it take you long adjusting? We have no idea what we are walking in to.
Personally no, it didn’t take long at all for me. Everyone speaks English and there are a lot of Amercian shows on tv for example. My husband is also quite American at heart (though he’s technically a Dutchie). I also work at an international organization so I speak English during the day, though my Dutch is strong so I speak more Dutch at home and outside of work.
So it really depends on where you are coming from. 🙂
Ah okay, in that case I’m not sure which post you meant. 🙂
Haha. A fan of the comment, yes, but he hasn’t tried the recipe mentioned in your comment yet.
